Plain-language summary. The Spending Tracker on this site stores your data in your browser, not on our servers. We only collect information you actively send us — for example, your email when you join the waitlist. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads.

1. Who We Are

  • Waitlist signups — your email address, equipment type, and revenue range when you submit our waitlist form.
  • Contact form / email — anything you send us via email or contact form.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Server logs — IP address, browser type, page accessed, timestamp. Standard server logs maintained for up to 90 days for security and operations.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — minimal, essential cookies only. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

2.3 Information we DON'T collect

Spending Tracker transaction data stays in your browser. The expense and revenue records you enter are stored in your browser's localStorage. They are not transmitted to us, our servers, our analytics, or any third party. We have no way to see your transactions.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers — hosting (e.g., Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, Netlify), email handling (e.g., Formspree, Mailchimp), web font services (Google Fonts). Each is bound by their own privacy terms.
  • Legal compliance — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or safety.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers.

5. Data Retention

Waitlist emails are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Server logs are retained for up to 90 days. Contact form submissions are retained as long as needed to address your inquiry, then archived for up to 2 years.

6. Your Rights

U.S. residents

Depending on your state (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and others), you may have rights to know what we collect, request access or deletion, opt out of sale/sharing (we don't sell, but the opt-out is available), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

EU/UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You additionally have rights of data portability, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

How to exercise your rights

Email privacy@roadition.com with your request. We will respond within 30 days (or 45 days with extension where allowed by law).

7. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS encryption for all site traffic, restricted internal access to waitlist data, and regular software updates. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any required authorities as required by law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

9. International Transfers

Roadition is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

10. Future Card Product

If and when the Roadition Card launches, the issuing bank partner will be a joint controller (or independent controller, depending on jurisdiction) of additional personal information collected in connection with card applications, account servicing, and transactions. A separate, more detailed privacy notice will apply to the Card and will be provided to applicants before any application is processed.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies only. We may add limited, privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible or Fathom) to understand how the site is used; if added, this Policy will be updated. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date and notifying waitlist subscribers by email.
